SKY HIGH APARTMENT
This award-winning New Farm project involved the renovation of a fifth-floor apartment in its original 1970s condition. The client was looking to add more living space to the cramped unit and create an expansive, open-plan feeling in the home.
Our team were required to conduct extensive demolition to remove internal concrete walls and original closed-in balconies to create a seamless open plan living, kitchen and dining space, which in turn added additional square metreage to the floorplan. The result is a 158m2luxury apartment with two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms.
The completed renovationfeatures high-end finishes such as Miele appliances, Smartstone benchtops and splashbacks and two-pack cabinetry, all of which are on show in the open plan kitchen. The kitchen cabinetry extends into the living space where a stylish and convenient bookshelf / entertainment cabinet is located, alongside a built-in bench seat for dining and a day bed for enjoying the stunning rooftop views of Brisbane city skyline. This area leads onto a spacious wrap-around balcony.
